You can start a career in construction, from straight out of school to later in life.

There are many ways to get started, such as through an apprenticeship, a higher apprenticeship (the same as the first year of a degree), or an entry-level job where you can learn.

Many big construction companies and consulting firms have programmes for recent college graduates that have set start dates each year.

We would suggest checking out the “What are my options” section of Go Construct’s website or the National Careers Service’s website to learn more about getting into the construction industry.
